Dr. Mette Haga is a Senior Consultant in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Akademikliniken Oslo, where she also serves as Medical Director. She obtained her MD from University of Oslo in 1996 and completed her specialist training in plastic surgery at Oslo University Hospital in 2006.

Dr. Haga has extensive experience in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, with a particular focus on secondary breast procedures involving implants, including complex revision surgery, implant exchange, and management of implant-related complications. She is recognized as one of the most experienced surgeons in Scandinavia in the use of lightweight breast implants and has been a pioneer in introducing advanced implant technologies and techniques for aesthetic reconstructive surgery.
